The Certosa di Maggiano, built in 1314, is located in the countryside just 2 km from the famous Piazza del Campo. Turned into a hotel in 1975, in 1978 it became part of the famous Association of Relais & Chateaux.
The 17 rooms of the Certosa di Maggiano, as many as were the monks' cells, are spread over three floors. Different in typology, colors, views and decor are united for simplicity and elegance, as well as all the comforts of today.
The Charterhouse offers its guests different angles for each particular time of day.
In a large park with vineyards and olive trees you will find the tennis court, heliport and a heated outdoor swimming pool, on the premises of the latter there is also a small fitness room.
