Hotel Aigle

Look out of the windows of the Hotel Aigle and admire a panorama that extends from the top of Mont Blanc to the peaks of the Dente del Gigante and the Grandes Jorasses.

Our hotel is located in Entreves (1300 m asl), a characteristic hamlet of Courmayeur crouched at the foot of the great mountain.

The village has remained authentically mountainous, with its ancient houses built with stone and wood and inserted in a natural environment where all around are the meadows, the woods, the river.

5 minutes away by car, Val Veny and Val Ferret in winter are a paradise for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing, while the Punta Helbronner cable car connects you to Chamonix (it is famous the section that reaches 3800 m. of the Aiguille du Midi, "cableway of the glaciers") and leads to the famous off-piste descent of the Vallée Blanche and to great ski mountaineering itineraries.

In summer excursions and walks for all ages to discover alpine lakes (Lake Miage is famous where they float, such as small icebergs, blocks detached from the glacier) and pastures, expanses of raspberries and blueberries, chalets and shelters where you can find refreshment.

Hotel Aigle is a comfortable "base camp" for all ascents that aim to reach the top of the "roof of Europe".

And together with mountaineering there are many exciting sports that you can practice here: mountain biking, rafting, dog sledding, paragliding, golf,.

Modern and charming family-run hotel, the Aigle Hotel has 12 rooms all with bathroom and equipped with every comfort: view and balcony, satellite TV, wi-fi internet connection, telephone, safe, hairdryer.

The restaurant, the living room with the bar, the large solarium garden are welcoming.

On the back there is the private parking and the garage.

Half board is provided, offering the typical dishes of the Valley for dinner as well as an international menu; in the morning, breakfast is served from a buffet.

Hotel Aigle is 300 meters from the departure station of the Val Veny cable car (access point to the Courmayeur ski area); while the Mont Blanc cable car (Punta Helbronner) is about 400 meters away.

At 1 km from the hotel there is an important sports facility with fields for tennis, volleyball, squash, basketball, 5-a-side football, and then ice skating, curling, climbing wall.

At 1.5 km is the center of Courmayeur, the cafes and shopping along the characteristic Via Roma.

Nearby are the swimming pool and the new Terme di Prè St.

Didier with whom our hotel has an agreement to offer concessions and discounts to guests, and always nearby is the Mont Blanc Tunnel, direct connection with Chamonix and France.
