Acquasanta Terme, already famous in Roman times, was mentioned by Titus Livy and Pliny the Elder in their writings as Vicus ad Aquas;famous for the highly curative properties of sulphurous waters that flow copiously in this place.
Right in the center of the town, on the main square, stands the Albergo Ristorante Terme: the oldest part of the building dates back to the second half of the 17th century.
Born as a post office, it has been transformed over time, first into prison and then by the owner, notable of the place, into a city club;in 1920 the building was enlarged and assumed the current destination of Albergo Ristorante.
The current management offers hospitality and traditional cuisine particularly appreciated for the refined simplicity and good taste that characterize them, which is guaranteed by the director of the restaurant, Francesca Caucci.
