Small chalet 908 meters above sea level on the northwest side of Etna. Cuisine with mushrooms, asparagus, black pig of nebrodi and pistachio of Bronte.
We recommend the tours to the ancient paths of Etna till the Minardo Mountains, where the golden eagles nest, Scavo Monte, Monte Maletto or to the woods of Miraglia where you can see wild pigs blacks Nebrodi or to go to source of the river Simeto. A visit to the Nelson-Maniace Castle with its medieval church, built by captain George Manipur in 1163 in memory of the victory gained over the Saracens in that place.
Upon notice, you can make excursions on horseback or by mountain bike, to visit and to do tastings at companies working pistachio. Of great interest is also Capizzi College and its library, the museum of ancient civilization and the nativity museum.
Anyone wishing to stay during the "sagra del pistacchio di Bronte", which takes place between late September and first week of October, must book well in advance.
