Reaching us is easy, because we are next to the Statale Romea, an important road that connects Ravenna to Mestre, but we also enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.
Places of interest nearby: La Locanda del Passo Pomposa is located inside station 1 of the Regional Park of the Po Delta Emiliano Romagnolo, in an area rich in naturalistic, historical-cultural and eno-gastronomic points of interest.
Pomposa Abbey: just 1.2 km from our estate you can find the splendid and evocative millennial Abbey of Pomposa decorated with frescoes from the Giotto school, reachable through a pedestrian and cycle path immersed in the greenery that starts directly from our property.
It is possible to visit the church and the museum complex.
Fiume Po di Volano: a former branch of the Po river, it runs right behind the Locanda and you can admire it from the private dock, the rooms and the birdwatching tower.
Adriatic Sea: a second path that can be traveled on foot or by bicycle, which runs along the Volano river, will take you directly to the sea.
The naturalistic Lido di Volano is the first of the Lidi Ferraresi septa you will encounter, about 8 km from the Locanda.
Corte Madonnina Farm: along the path that leads to the Abbey of Pomposa you will meet this farm where you can taste the famous Sands Wines and buy typical products.
Torre della Finanza: a historic monument built in 1739 and used as a Guardia di Finanza barracks at the beginning of the 20th century and currently used for impromptu exhibitions and events and a bird watching spot.
At 7 km from the hotel in the direction of Lido di Volano Starred restaurant La Zanzara (1 * Michelin): located about 7 km from the hotel at the Oasis of Porticino (Volano).
Mesola and the Gran Bosco della Mesola: covering about 14 km towards Venice you will find the Estense Castle of Mesola, an ancient hunting delight of the Este family.
Proceeding towards Bosco Mesola, you can explore the Gran Bosco della Mesola nature reserve, on foot or by bicycle, to discover the famous Cervo Italico.
Comacchio: 20 km from the structure towards Ravenna, at the station 2 of the Regional Park of the Po Delta Emiliano Romagnolo rises the "Little Venice".
In the salt pans and in the Valleys it is also possible to participate and guided excursions to discover the Pink Flamingos.
At about 50 km you will also find two beautiful cities such as Ferrara and Ravenna, 95 km Venice and 97 km Bologna.
OUR SERVICES: 1. The stay includes and includes overnight stay and breakfast (sweet and savory buffet, from 8.00 to 11.00).
2. The lounge bar is available in the morning from 8.00 am to 11.00 am for breakfast and from 6.30 pm to 11.00 pm for aperitifs or relaxing moments.
3. It is possible to have lunch or dinner at the Pomposa Pass Restaurant, adjacent to the Locanda (à la carte menu based on fish or meat); the restaurant is open every evening from Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday is open for lunch (closing Sunday evening and all Monday).
4. The doors of the Inn are open from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm.
Any requests for exit / return outside this time slot can be agreed with the hotel management.
5. The reception service is active from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm.
6. Check-in takes place from 13.00 to 22.00, except for different times to be agreed with the hotel management.
Check-out is expected by 11.00 am on the day of departure.
7. In order to be able to check-in, it is necessary to show an identity document, this also applies to all of your minor family members (everyone must have an identification document).
For minors who present themselves alone it is possible to check in only if they present an identity document together with a parental authorization to stay at the Locanda.
8. The rooms are all equipped with private bathroom (with shower or bath, bidet, hairdryer, toiletries), a mini-fridge (if you need drinks, you can buy them at our bar), flat-screen TV, safe and desk.
9. The rooms and each room of the hotel are air-conditioned.
10. The stay includes free use of Wi-Fi (connecting to the "Free Locanda Pomposa" network), both in the common areas and in the rooms.
11. In the rooms inside the Locanda (including rooms) smoking is prohibited.
12. You can pay your stay in cash, with debit or credit card.
